Sunday Classes - Winter 2025/2026

We are delighted to welcome your children to IAOS Yorkton’s Sunday Classes ! Our dedicated volunteers are eager to provide essential Islamic education in a vibrant and engaging environment, fostering a love for our Deen in our children.

📚 Program Details:
Classes will be held Sundays to be held either on Option 1: 11.00am - 12.30pm or Option 2: 1.30pm to 3.00pm (TBC) , for children aged 7 to 10. Students will benefit from a curriculum based on the book:

  • Title: Weekend Learning Islamic Studies

  • Author: Mansur Ahmad and Husain A. Nuri

  • Distributor: Al Barakah Books

This is a volunteer-run effort, led by sister Sarah Fahim. Sarah is a resident of the Yorkton area and has prior experience teaching this curriculum for 2 years at Muslim Children of North America (MCNA) weekend program in Milton, ON.

To cover the costs of the association to run this program, the cost for this 10-week program will be one-time payment of $75 per child. Once registration is confirmed, the organizers will request a payment made to the association prior to starting of the classes.

  • Registration Closes: Tuesday, November 4, 2025

  • Confirmation Sent: Saturday, November 8, 2025

  • First Day of Classes: Sunday, November 16, 2025

  • Break: No Classes on Sunday, December 21 2025 and Sunday, December 28, 2025

  • Last Day of Classes: Sunday, February 1, 2026

📍 Location: All classes are held in-person at IAOS Yorkton - (17 1st Ave N, Yorkton, SK S3N 1J3)

🚨 Important Notes:

  • Curriculum learning material will be provided.

  • Class groupings may be adjusted at the discretion of the teacher(s) based on overall registration.

  • We do not offer sibling discounts

  • Once registration is confirmed, the organizers will request a payment made to the association prior to starting of the classes.

  • Refunds will NOT be issued after Sunday, November 16, 2025
